OUR MISSION:
DSNY Hockey, proudly known as New York's Strongest, represents the NYC Department of Sanitation with pride, teamwork, community, and integrity. Our mission is to bring members of the department together through the sport of hockey - promoting camaraderie, physical wellness, philanthropy and community involvement both on and off the ice.

We are currently in the process of obtaining offcial 501(c)(3) non-profit status, which will allow us to further expand our charitable initiatives and strengthen our impact across communities we serve. Through organized events, fundraisers, and partnerships, DSNY Hockey aims to embody the spirt of New York's Strongest-on the ice and beyond.

DSNY Hockey is back and officially recognized by the department. We are building something special here. DSNY Hockey strives to be the Gold Standard of what a city agency team can represent - professionalism, unity, and pride both on and off the ice.
Submissions are currently closed for the 2025-2026 season and will be reopening in 2026. Check back for updates.

We're just getting started. Keep an eye out for updates as we continue to build out the home of New York's Strongest's website. Soon you will find everything from Team Schedules and photo galleries to our sponsor highlights, fundraising opportunities, and upcoming events. We'll also be honoring the original DSNY Hockey team from the 1990's and introducing our current board of directors making this all possible.
